About Me

& My Style

I came to interior design by an unusual route & I think that's what makes the difference.

Before I trained as an interior designer, I spent years working as an occupational therapist. It's a profession built entirely on listening; on understanding how people live, what they need from their surroundings, and how the spaces around them can either support or hinder their daily lives.

That experience never left me. It shapes every project I take on. When I sit with a client, I'm not just thinking about what looks beautiful, I'm thinking about the morning routine, the Sunday afternoon light, the way a kitchen needs to work for a family who actually cooks in it. I design around real life, not an idealised version of it.

My love for interiors grew out of a hands-on project close to home; renovating a neglected cottage that needed patience, vision and a lot of careful decision-making. I retrained at the KLC School of Design, graduating with distinction, and haven't looked back.

My aesthetic is rooted in the English countryside; calm, considered and quietly confident. I'm drawn to muted, earthy tones and the kind of layering that builds character over time: natural materials, quality craftsmanship, textiles that invite you to sit down and stay a while. Never trend-led. Always timeless.

I work with a small number of clients at a time; mostly busy professionals and families across West Kent, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area. I offer a design consultation service as well as a full interior design service, depending on what your project needs.

If you're looking for a designer who will really take the time to understand your home and how you live in it, I'd love to hear from you. The first step is a free discovery call; no obligation, just a conversation about your project and how I might be able to help.
